Stainless Steel Tile Flooring - Stylish and resilient
A Brand new Eco friendly Flooring designed and manufactured in the UK. Combining creative design with durability and ease of maintenance all products meet the highest standards of industrial and domestic flooring.
Thanks to the unique cold-rolling and embossing process our products features 3D floor patterns which give a stylish look and aid slip
resistance. Hard-wearing and with a stainless steel layer the amazing tiles are highly-resilient and virtually vandal-proof.
The full range of stainless steel tiles are made from a stainless steel top and a sturdy MDF base - the construction is similar to a laminate floor and fitting is done with a simple click system.
Stainless Steel Flooring suitable for indoors
This MDF backed stainless steel flooring is ideal for indoor use. For outdoor decking and even bathrooms we recommend the use of our Water resistant PVC backed equivalent in all the same designs.
The steel tiles can also be used for splashbacks and wall tiles.
Easy to install
No specialist tools are required to install our steel flooring, only equipment that most flooring contractors or a keen DIY enthusiast
already have in their toolbox is needed. Very little preparation is required to the sub floor and with the simple low-tech interlocking
system you can fit even large areas in a very short time.
As a floating system it can easily be installed in one area and then quickly moved and used in a different location. The MDF base, which
is moisture resistant, is the core of the simple interlocking system and is made from a readily available recycled product. Our steel flooring
uses a unique adhesive, created following many years of research, which allows it to be laminated to any surface.
Simple to maintain
The stainless steel surface takes very little maintenance to keep clean, making this one of the most
hygienic flooring systems available. Marks and blemishes such as chewing gum, cigarette stains, grease and paint can all be
removed with little effort using everyday cleaning products and equipment.
Due to the unique cold-rolling and embossing process our Stainless Steel Flooring products feature eye-catching 3D patterns for a stylish,
contemporary look. Our Stainless products use 304 grade top quality stainless steel and are available in a variety of styles and designs.

Fitting instructions for Stainless steel Flooring:
1. Choose the design layout of the floor tiles and adjust spacing to all walls for an even finish. The tiles can be laid in any direction depending on your style of room.
2. Begin in one corner of the room and work from left to right with the tongue sides of the tiles towards the wall. The gap between the long side and the wall can be adjusted later when three rows have been laid (Note - it is often simpler to start the row of tiles at the door.)
3. Press the second tile in at an angle against the first. Continue in the same way along the rest of the first row.
Remember the beauty of the stainless steel tiles is that the backing and fitting system is the same as fitting laminate flooring - a simple easy click system which can be taken up and re-fitted more than once.
The gap between the floor and the walls can be adjusted when two rows have been laid. Place spacing wedges between the floor and the wall to keep the floor in place.
The first row sometimes requires adjustments to suit a wall that is out of line. Draw the contours of the wall on the tiles then detach the tiles in the first row by gripping the short side and pulling upwards. Saw along the line you have drawn as per cutting instructions.
4. Drill holes in the tiles for radiator pipes. The diameter of the holes must be at least 20mm bigger than the pipe. When fitting the tiles, glue and cut out in position and cover the holes with pipe collars.
In areas where water may be splashed onto the floor we recommend 'Quick Seal' is used between all floor tile joints.
Expansion and contraction have been calculated into the design, however walls can be subject to movement as well therefore a minimal space between the wall and flooring is recommended.
How To Cut stainless steel tiles:
There are three ways to cut Woodford Stainless tiles to size or to make necessary cut-outs.
1. Order custom sizes. We can custom make the tiles to the size and shape that you need. Contact us for further details of this bespoke design.
2. Cut the tiles with a bandsaw using a fine toothed metal cutting blade (18 teeth per cm or greater) and smooth the cut edge with emery paper or a fine file.
3. Cut the tiles with a jigsaw using a metal cutting blade - this will also be useful for curved edges, smooth the cut edge with emery paper or a fine file.
It is recommended that you do not attempt to cut the tiles using any other means than those described above and do not run your fingers along the edge of the tile as it may be sharp.
